The most famous Provencal red wine producing region is an experience to live alongside a sommelier graduated from the national sommelier school and WSET 3. Guiding you from the rolled pebble paths, to the millenary cellars offered by the village, we will discover the magic of the wines of Chateauneuf du Pape, and its inseparable history shared with the city of Avignon.
We will start the day with the discovery of Chateauneuf du Pape and its history from the alluvium of alpine rocks on the sides of the Rhone river to the famous Grenache through the history of the Popes and the birth of AOCs in the heart of a legendary area of the appellation.
You will learn all about the making of its wines from the vine planted in rolled pebbles to the dark-colored glass through the vinification stages, you will also discover the tasting methods, analyzing with your sommelier the process to appreciate a wine.
In the second stage, we will go to an area as breathtaking for its home as for its wines and its history, immersing you in its cellars dating back several hundred years where the precious nectars of wines lie dormant, which we will taste with happiness.
Then there will be a well-deserved country lunch in the heart of the village of Chateauneuf du Pape, picnic, traditional or gourmet French cuisine are all options available to us.
The afternoon will be reserved for exploring the city of Avignon, rich in medieval history, with incredible charm cradled by the Rhône. Palais des Papes, Avignon bridge, Roman remains, open-air theater … every bend in the lane tells a magical moment in this Provençal city.
After such a day driven by so many wines and magic we will finally take the road back home.
A wonderful serenity has taken possession of my entire soul, like these sweet mornings of spring which I enjoy with my whole heart. I am alone, and feel the charm of existence in this spot, which was created for the bliss of souls like mine. I am so happy, my dear friend, so absorbed in the exquisite.

My partner and I have just spent a full day with Rémi visiting two vineyards in the Châteauneuf-du-Pape region, the city of Avignon and lavender fields in the Luberon! Unbelievable! He met us at our hotel on time and we started right away. He was fluent in English and was keen to establish cultural connections with his clients. He is a trained sommelier, but he will take you wherever you want to go in Provence. He has extensive knowledge of the history of the region and current events. About halfway through he suggested a restaurant with wonderful views of the Rhône river and the countryside where we tasted a bottle of wine from a vineyard we had just visited. Overall a great guide that I would highly recommend.
