Let’s go to sea from the prettiest village in Provence Cassis. On board the sailboat, we will leave this small fishing port that medieval and modern Roman history has shaped, before anchoring in a small paradisiacal cove. A piquenique, a jump in the water, a nap in the sun, and the return downwind to the ancient city … We will pick you up by minivan to take you directly to the City of Cassis where a fully prepared boat will be waiting for you for start your excursion.
We will begin our excursion by leaving the old port of Cassis from before JC established by Caius Portus general of the Roman army which then served as a base of protection in the Middle Ages and whose motto “Vine, Sea, and stone” symbolizes the 3 pillars that have the richness of this city: The quarries of Peter, the wine, and the sea kingdom of fishermen.
We will anchor for the afternoon in a paradisiacal cove, this recess of the sea in the walls of limestone rocks offers a bluish water that the crowds will not be able to prevent you from deriving an exquisite pleasure
Lunchtime will come, accompanied by a Cassis wine tasting session in the presence of your WSET3 sommelier guide, then a nap for some, or a swim in heavenly water for others.
On the way back, we will put your sailing skills to the test under the southerly wind to the Old Port of Cassis.
